Affiliate marketing has become a popular way for individuals and businesses to earn money online. But with the rise of various get-rich-quick schemes and dubious online opportunities, it’s natural to wonder: Is affiliate marketing legit? Let’s dive into what affiliate marketing is, how it works, and Know these 5 things if you don’t wanna Waste Money.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where individuals (affiliates) earn a commission for promoting someone else’s products or services. Affiliates use unique tracking links to direct potential customers to the merchant’s website. When a sale or action is completed through those links, the affiliate earns a commission.
5 things to know if you don’t want to waste your Money:
- Don’t buy a course: If you really don’t want to waste your money, I would recommend not buying any course at all. Trust me you will get more than required information on the Internet, YouTube and even on our blogs so no matter who is saying whatever, don’t buy a course you don’t need it.
- Don’t rush into things:
Affiliate marketing is something you need a good amount of patience with, if you are starting for free or you wanna do organic earning in which you don’t pay for ads, which is profitable and, yes I earn from it that’s why I’m saying it. I will post the picture of my earnings on this page somewhere. Now this one thing about earning organically it takes time till you get the right audience base and convince them through your post, reels, stories, reviews or blogs. Let say, you have a social media handle, so it takes time to get to the right amount of followers. By “right” I mean followers of your niche. So take your time with it and if you’re doing paid ads to get sales there are thousands and thousands of YouTube videos which I would recommend watching or reading my blogs and then only jump into it. Because you have to know all about keyword research, running a campaign and all the key terms involved in running an ad campaign, again, you don’t need a paid course for that so don’t buy it. There are lots of videos on YouTube and blogs such as mine.
- Don’t sit in many boats at a time and choose the right one : Now the mistake a lot of people make and I also very proudly made that choosing a lot of affiliate products at a single time when I started. You have to choose that one product, that is of a niche you are passionate about, because you have to know that you have to be consistent about posting because trust me it gets boring someday. It’ll be like you know it’s pointless, but then you have to keep on doing it and that’s why you have to choose the right niche that you can research about, make content about.
You have to give people some kind of information as leverage to check out your website or your products that you’re promoting.
- Don’t sell high ticket products: If you’re a beginner I would recommend not selling high ticket products, cause the sales on those are very low and it can be demotivating and you will end up believing affiliate marketing is not legit in a few weeks only. Start with products which have good sales and the commission on average is around $20 to $50 and then when you feel like you have been doing it for a good amount of time and you know what you’re doing then maybe you can try high ticket affiliate products.
- Choose the right affiliate partners: There are a lot of affiliate websites or products that you can affiliate with but I would recommend choosing the right ones in the beginning. My personal favorite is clickBank because I actually made money from it, and then you also can affiliate with amazon products, or you can use a lot of good brands that do have affiliate service so you can just write the name of the brands and affiliate with it on Google and check if they have an affiliate program or not.
Last but not least, Don’t buy any courses. I know I’m repeating but, You don’t need courses, trust me you don’t , and obviously I will try my best to provide you with the right information about everything timely.
I think you might have gotten the answer to is affiliate marketing Legit. Everything that I have written is good enough for you to know what to do, or at least what direction to go in. I will keep on posting stuff and will try my best to help you earn, So all the best for the online earning journey.
